More than 50% of people living in cities are accustomed to fast

MEDNET’s most recent study shows that more than half of people living in cities usually fast (55,8%). As expected, data obtained revealed the fact that the percentage of those who fast increases accordingly to the age of the respondents (55,8%). Private health insurances

The interest for private health insurances and medical subscriptions rises. The intent of contracting a private health insurance increased this year in comparison with the past year. Therefore,  if in 2010 only 47,3 % of the total respondents from Bucharest considered the best way to overcome a health problem was to contract a private health insurance, in 2011 the percent increased up to 55,2%. Private Brands

In the past year, 60,5% of the respondents aged between 18 and 70 years old bought private brands products. The study was realized by MEDNET Marketing Research Center on a representative sample from Bucharest and cities with over 100.000 inhabitants, between 02 – 11 February 2011. 800 respondents were telephonically interviewed with an error margin of ±3.46%. Analyzing the data obtained on age groups, was observed that 76.7% of the young respondents  aged between 26 and 35 years old bought in the past year products of a particular store’s private brand, (...)


The effects of the economic crisis

In February 2011, more than half of the Romanians declared they were affected by the economic crisis in a large and very large amount. The study shows that the consequences of the crisis are still present in the Romanians lives, 53,2% of the interviewed respondents are still affected by the crises in a very large amount (29,8%) and large amount (23,4%).
